Fine art printmaking

We run a wide range of Fine Art Printmaking Workshops and Courses to include one or more of the following techniques:- Lino Cuts, Cut Card, Collagraphs, Wood Engraving, Wood Cuts, Monoprints and Drypoint Etching on perspex.

Our aims are to :-

• enable participants to discover their own way of image making and composition, cutting and block making
• demonstrate and teach the various printing processes
• introduce inks and the application of colour to the blocks
• enable participants to produce good prints of the their own
• teach tool sharpening & workshop safety
• show examples of original prints by various artists

The workshops are devised to meet the specific requirements of each group and a portable printing press opens up the possibilities for all kinds of venues.

We are flexible in our approach and can integrate print techniques with puppet workshops.

Ken and Jill have Fine Art Degrees in Sculpture and Printmaking. Jill is a member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. They have fifteen years of experience of running printmaking workshops and organising exhibitions.
